What string can I use to secure helium balloons in pool?

I would like to decorate my pool with floating balloons but not sure what the best materials to use? Please assist me in finding the right sting/cable/stick to use. Thank you in advance.

Hi Katia,

I would use either curling ribbon or - if you want to give the illusion that the balloons are kept in place by an "invisible" force - clear fishing line.
