What can I use to make the frame for a cancer ribbon balloon sculpture?
Cancer Ribbon Balloon Sculpture
I'm trying to create a 10 foot ribbon for the Relay For Life cancer fundraiser and am not sure what the best material for the frame would be.
ANSWER:
For a tall, free standing sculpture like the one you have in mind you should at least use 1/2" aluminium rod. If you want to give it extra sturdiness, consider using 1/2" PVC conduit.
