I have done a trial today on latex double balloon with hi-float on the smaller balloon and it only floated for about 12 hours. Is there a way I can get them to float longer?
ANSWER
Hi Karrie,
According to the Hi-Float booklet at BalloonHQ.com, you have to treat the outer, 16" balloon with hi-float.
Apply the required amount of hi-float to the inside of the 16" balloon, inflate it with helium and seal it with a clip. Let it dry for at least 24 hours.
Then remove the clip, letting only a little helium escape. Insert the 11" balloon. Replace any lost helium and hand-tie the 16-inch balloon.
The hi-float has to be completely dry before you insert the 11" balloon.
Hope that helps!
